Hi there, thank you for your quick reply. I have a follow up question. I like watching several charts at the same time and I have multiple monitors to see that. I notice that the sierra framework appears to permit viewing one chart at one time (or one study at one time). Is it possible for me to open, say, 3 chart studies at the same time on different monitor? If so, does it mean that I have to pay 3 connections each month? thank you |

I notice that the sierra framework appears to permit viewing one chart at one time (or one study at one time) Not sure why you came to this conclusion but this is completely untrue.Refer to: Getting Started, Opening Charts and Basic Trading: Open Chart Window and CW Menus: Cascade (Window) Detaching and Attaching Chart Windows Chart Studies: Adding/Modifying Chart Studies Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. No, you will not have to pay for 3 data connections or for 3 Sierra Chart copies. The easiest way to do what you want is to simply create the charts you want and then detach the windows from the main Sierra Chart window and move these detached windows to the monitors that you want. You will find the information on detaching windows here: Detaching and Attaching Chart Windows: Detaching a Chart You can also use the option File >> New Instance to create a separate instance of Sierra Chart that can be moved to different monitors. Refer to the following section for this option: Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance: Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
