Hi, it is happening in range bar chart, like in attached screenshot. I looked in Volfix, but there its normal.
I use SC Data all services.
How can I avoit this?

Why would you expect to see complete trading activity back in September for the January 2019 crude oil futures contract?

And in the other chart, you are looking at the October 2018 contract.

You need to use the Continuous Futures Contract chart feature:

How sure are you of the data you are using for a comparison?

The data you are showing in the SC screenshot corresponds to the inventory news on Sept 6, this kind of gapping behaviour would not be unexpected in the seconds immediately following the news.

We do now notice you are using the Continuous Futures Contract option.

Fully re-download the data for all contract months following these instructions here:
Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Re-Downloading Continuous Futures Contract Data

If you still see the same result then the result must be accurate based upon the short range you are using and a very active moment in the market.

Thanks. I redownloaded, but nothing changed. I thaught even in a very active moment, the price is moving continuos and not jumping. But i don't know what the market is able to do in reality. Maybe Volfix has a filter to not display the jumps. This jumps are causing wrong automatted trades. Therefore I would like to get a solution for that. Is it possible for you to put a filter on this jumps?

The problem is still unsolved, but I was confused about the time zone, volfix was using. So I updated the screenshot for the same time like SC.

We have examined this chart configuration using IQ Feed data and the result is the same:

What you see in SC is definitively correct. This volume fix is just simply wrong. If you want to have faith in something wrong you can go ahead and do that but they are just flat out wrong. That is just so overwhelmingly clear.

You will only get perfection with Sierra Chart and Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and that is the basic fact. We know because we know intimately how everything works.
