Hello,

I came across your information about how to reduce the amount of drawing and computations and millisecond updating in order to speed up sierra chart. Lotsof that information ws good information. However, I came across another post that I cannto fidn anymore that spoke about leaving some of the "DEFAULT" settings on charts dealing with the title bar and spreadsheet studies etc. I cannot find this.

I am wodnering how to "streamline" or "reduce" everything possible per chart in Sierra chart which would include I think unchecking title bar drawings etc. can you explain in detail exactly waht the ORDER of operations is for drawing of charts etc. or what i would check or uncheck to REDUCE any and all extra uneeded drawings or words on my charts.

Is it wrong to assume that any and all "words" on the charts like moving average updates etc. in number form on my charts increases teh work load?

When i say drawing I do not mean my own drawings.. i mean default stuff that is built into your charts.. i hope this is making sense.. thank you all in all I amvery impressed with the speed of sierra chart but it is a personal thing where i want to reduce every chart to only drawing my indicators and my bars.. but if "NOT" having title bars is slowing it down then I will add them. THANK YOU

Refer to the following for the Chart Header:
Working With Charts: Region Data Line / Chart Header

That section also has a link for how to turn off the display of information for studies, so be sure to look through that as well.
