Hello,
For the life of me I have not been able to figure out how to have regular volume bars display in the background of a basic candlestick chart.. (similar to VbyPrice bars but along the time/x-axis instead. Please instruct me on how to do so.

Also, is there away to adjust the amount of space allotted for sub-graph studies so that applying one does not consume 1/4 of my screen?

If you really want to have Volume Bars in the same region as your Main Price graph, then just follow the instructions here:
Chart Studies: Overlaying a Study on the Main Price Graph

But I do not think this will really give you what you want, as the bars are just going to be in the chart, not at any specific location. It really is best to just have the Volume in a separate region, which it sounds like you have figured out how to do. In order to adjust the region size, refer to the documentation here:
