I'm coming from Investor R/T where they have a Delta Shaded Volume Profile, and a "smoothed Delta" profile that takes the values from the VP and avg's them. Using the smoothed delta profile, it's very easy to see areas of support and resistance off the slope of the VP to the HVN.
Is there anyway to get better color gradation in the VP on SC? I attempted to duplicate the smoothed delta, using a 3 tick avg, but it's not that clear. I attached two images.
Thank you very much!

This is from their site. https://www.linnsoft.com/techind/price-statistics
Volume Profile Delta Shaded - distribution of volume at price and shades each volume at price bar according to the intensity of delta.
Smoothed Delta (y) - Averages the delta for the nearest (y) bars and displays it as a value.

The only supported Volume by Price Volume bar coloring methods are documented here:

Another way to do this is to use the Numbers Bars study:
Numbers Bars

It supports volume profile type of background coloring and 8 different color settings.

What you can then do is if you set the chart bars to the timeframe that you want the volume profile for, then you will have a volume profile for that timeframe.

I was hoping to have the Volume by Price study able to use the coloring options from the numbers bar study. When I set the number bars study to 1-0-0 for a daily graph, I can't have it "on" the same window as a renko type chart.

I was just hoping that the color gradient of the volume by price could be more granular, to emulate something like this attachment in capture.jpg.
VP is the delta shaded volume profile, and SD is the smooth delta which just takes a tick above/below and does a avg.

The closest I can get with SC is capture2, but I cannot gradient the colors.

I second this request to add these coloring options to the volume profile. It's not enough to use number bars since you can't fix the number bars study to the right of the screen.
