Dear SC Team,

I have the following issues, re data of the DAX future contract (currently DYZ18, EUREX):

1- I have tick data from 2013-01-04 on the main instance. However, on the sub instance I cannot get any data (even whiout requiring Ask/Bid Volume) prior to 2015-06-19. There is an error mesage in the LOG: "Error: no data for read". I have read again the documentation on "Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance" but everything seems all right. Would you have any suggestions to solve this?

2- On the main instance I can download '1 mn' data from 2009/09/17 but when I install any SC's study, the study disappears with the following message in the LOG: Encountered an out of memory condition when calling study function. Sometimes it is a CountDown Timer error with an out of memory condition.

I have an i7 4Core CPU 32Go RAM 1To SSD Drive and Sierra Chart Package5 for data.

Thank you for your support.

Regards,

Laurent

1. Update to the current version of Sierra Chart:
Software Download: Fast Update

If you are running any sub instances, exit from those before updating and make sure the version number is up-to-date for them after you start them.

All of this is essential because some recent versions had an issue with symbol settings in sub instances.

After that, follow these instructions here:
Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance: Historical Data and Missing Historical Data

2. Refer to:
Working With Charts: Out of Memory Condition

Refer to the response above and also after updating Sierra Chart and after the sub instances are updated which will happen automatically assuming you are using File >> New Instance to start them, make sure the Symbol Settings in those instances are updated by following the instructions here in each of those sub instances:

Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings
