Hello!

I am trying to activate U.S. Equities data feed and getting the following errors:
- Error Activating 'U.S. Equities (NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX, BATS)' on account #1 on the Barchart system.
- Failed to activate the 'U.S. Equities (NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX, BATS)' exchange.

License agreement has been signed out and there is enough credit in the account

Could you please help
Thank you

The issue is that you are considered as a professional by the exchange due to your "employer" and "email address". So if you are not a professional, then you need to resubmit the Market Data Agreement (With US Equities Agreement) with the correct details:

https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeDataFeedFeatures#Agreements

And try to activate the Exchange again.

If you are a professional, then we will need to activate the "U.S. Equities Professional (NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX)" exchange, which is billed directly by the exchange.

Sierra,

I am also having the same problem of not being able to reactivate my services despite having resubmitting the Market Data Agreement (With US Equities Agreement) as a non-professional.

We received the following information from barchart:

The user has resubmitted the agreements but they continue to enter NA for the occupation as shown below. NYSE won't accept NA so they will need to enter something else. They can enter retired or unemployed but something other than NA must be entered.

nyseOccupations: N/A
nyseEmployers: N/A
nyseEmployersAddress: N/A
nysePositions: N/A
nyseFunctions: N/A

John,

I resubmitted the agreements, this time entering "unemployed" into the categories that I entered "N/A" into before. Then I refreshed my page but was still considered a "professional" according to Sierra Charts. I proceeded to try and activate the U.S. Equities (NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX, BATS) exchange but was still met with the same error message. Is there a certain waiting period before my status is updated? I would very much appreciate the assistance.

Thank you,
Andy Nguyen
