Full order book for all Contracts - CQG

Hello, I am having a problem viewing the full order book for all the contracts I have DOMS pulled up for. I seem to have a full order book on TWO contract I trade only and that is CL (Crude), and XBT (Bitcoin). I have checked the Global / and local settings for each contract and they are all enabled for Max 100. However all the contracts im viewing, Copper (CP), Gold (GC), NQ (Nasdaq), NG (Natural Gas) all have a max shown of 10 in the Order book even with a setting of 100. I called CQG to ask them why i was only receiving full order book for some contracts and not others and they told me that I am active for full order book on all contracts and that the error must be on Sierra's side, and to contact their support. So... any ideas guys on how to fix this? I did site your support thread regarding some one who had a similar issue with Rithmic. Did as your thread suggested and as i stated before is does shows full book for 2 of the contracts only. Full deph of market with Rithmic data feed Please advise, Thanks Ryan |

We should not be wasting our time on this. CQG only provides 10 levels of depth. That is all. Why on earth they do not tell you that we have no idea. We are declining any and all further support here.

Wow.. Not sure why your taking it out on me? Im simply trying to figure out a solution to my problem... You say CGQ has only 10 levels of Depth but as i stated before Crude (CL) and Bitcoin (XBT) both have the 100+ depth order book and they are powered by CGQ. I will include a copy of the screen shot from my DOM for CL so you can see. Im not imagining things and I would appreciate you not Cutting me off on my first request for help after following your support board and taking all the necessary steps with my data provider before even writing your support Dept. CQG needs to be competent and help you with this issue. That is the problem. The point is, they need to tell you what they offer. It is ridiculous that they are not even telling you they only have 10 levels of depth. And yes we know they have more levels of depth on CL. This is not about you, it is about CQG and competency. Also the market statistics, and the crypto currency data does not come from CQG. Sierra Chart accesses our own data feeds for those when using CQG. The only data that would come from CQG would be the symbols listed under "File >> Find Symbol >> Futures".

I completely understand that and thank you. I am trading CME, NYMEX, and ICE products only for now. As a solution to my problem I am going to switch data providers to Rithmic to ensure that i get full order book for all products not just a few. CQG clearly has some things they need to address
