Hi, I am using the latest version with LMAX (v1794) and every time I connect to data services, I have a position on EURUSD. That position doesn't exist on LMAX (checking through LMAX web client). My current workarounds, is to either restrict the "Order Fills Start Date-Time" or go into "Trade Activity Log" and do a "Clear". Is there something I should do ? Should I use or not use "Use Fill Calculated Positions-Global" ? Thanks! |

This is not unusual when using LMAX and does not relate to the new version. It could not. It is fully explained here: LMAX Trading Service: How Current Trade Positions Are Determined You really do need to set "Order Fills Start Date-Time" to the point in time that your position has been flat and should be fine going forward in time. With LMAX this is always on and cannot be disabled: "Use Fill Calculated Positions-Global" Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Ok, thanks. I never needed to use it before ( in previous year and half of SC usage with LMAX ). I am not sure, but it started happening when I used and traded using the 64bit version on linux, which has problems in the "trade and activity" information. ( like I reported in a previous post ). With LMAX this is always on and cannot be disabled:
"Use Fill Calculated Positions-Global" I also thought that, from reading the documentation, but I noticed that i had it disabled, so I asked to be sure. Thanks for the help, I also thought asking because you stated that were doing changes in LMAX in the demo and were going to do it in real environment this week. |
