Hello,

I have a trading account with WHInvestSelf Futures. I have Sierra Charts installed on my computer from late last year. It does not appear to be configured for CQG. In the service providers under the Data/ Trade Service Settings, CQG FIX Trading it says (Not enabled on package), as well as all of the other service providers, are "Not enabled on package". Please help me so that I can use the CQG live data feed with Sierra Charts through WHSelfInvest Futures.

I have read the instructions (CQG Trading Platform Service, plus forum) but yet it doesn't connect.

Does it require a program from CQG to make connection?

Hi,

Make sure you update your version of Sierra Chart. Use "Download Current Version" from the "Help" menu.

Are you paying monthly for Sierra Chart? Sierra Chart comes in two packages: 3 and 5. They both cost money. Sierra Chart is not free. So if you, for instance, are not paying anything, you must have an account provided to you for free by an affiliate broker. And those versions have limited functionality.

CQG and other routing methods are fully enabled on packages 3 and 5, but maybe not through the affiliate's account that you may be using.

I don't think WH Selfinvest offers Sierra Chart accounts at a reduced price. Where did you get Sierra Chart from and what are you paying each month?

Hello,

Thank you for taking time to reply, appreciative for this.

I did the update already, the Service package I have is #3 ($24) but it expired one week ago, I am paying for feed as far as I understand via CQG as WHInvestSelf does charge me for cost of this.

I assume that Feed cost is already payed via WHSelfInvest but not really sure if this is the case or If I need to pay both sides?

Any thoughts?

Sierra Chart offers real-time data, but this is extra and not included in the price for package 3 or package 5. You do not need real-time futures data through Sierra Chart, since you have a CQG login through WH Selfinvest. But you must have a paid version of Sierra Chart in order to use Sierra Chart.
