while reading Tick by Tick Data Configuration This came up.... Keep in mind that tick by tick data is less efficient and takes more disk space. However, it is necessary for accuracy.
Could u mind explaining, How tick by tick data is less efficient ?i want to see the market working in 1000th of a second, i guess tick by tick seems only possible way.... Thanks sierra chart for creating wonderful ACSIL Platform. |

Thanks for Clarification. I want to see ticks in 1 millisecond range. Do i need to change to this ? ChartUpdateInterval = 1

1ms is too much and just eats through your pc's resources.. 20 is good enough.. humans need 100-200ms to react.. |
