I use Infinity brokerage. I had a free trial account with Sierra but it was using IQ feed - not paid sierra feed. When charts first came up this morning they connected using the IQ feed. I went in and switched the feed to Barchart data (that's what I think I saw I should do for using Sierra feed data). I have not had any chart updates now for over an hour.

Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service needs to be set to SC Data - All Services.

Follow the instructions here to connect once to your Infinity account to authorize the real-time CME data:

I've connected the action stated above to connect to transact and then reconnect to SC Data. My charts populated and looked good but have now "disappeared" and are just a blank black shell. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1531850054278.png

Based upon the symbols you are using, which are Transact symbols, you need to keep Sierra Chart connected to Transact always instead of SC Data-All Services. Therefore, follow these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#IntegrationWithTradingServices

But that does not really explain why the charts are blank though. However, first step is to connect Sierra Chart to Transact and keep that connection.

I do not want to use the bundled transact feed, I paid for the sierra feed so that I could get unbundled tic data that transact does not supply. It appears I just needed to choose the correct symbol from the available list of SC data and once I did that the charts populated. The symbols in my data files were from my previous set of free charts from transact and I was not aware i needed to choose the new SC feed symbol.

Okay. For the record, here are the instructions to change the symbol of a chart:
