Hi,

I use the "Always on Top" function to have a chart in front and visible when overlapping another chart. When I take down SC's the AOT function seems to be disabled or isn't active when I bring SC's back up, and I have to set up those charts that I want to use this for again. Is it possible to have this AOT function permanent so I don't have to setup those charts again?

Thanks

Hi,

When I load SC's now, the charts that I have the "Always on top" checked appear on top of the other charts. This is great. But, if you were to click another chart that would overlap or cover those charts after loaded, that overlapping or covering will occur. In other words it works great initially when brought up but you have to click off and on the "Always on top" once up to get it to "stay" always on top. Is this correct?

Also, upon updating to the new release of SC's it appears I've got "Version: 1762 32 bit". I'm quite sure I had a 64 bit version of SC's prior. Is this correct?

Thanks

This issue has been resolved. The current version is 1768. There are icons/shortcuts on your desktop for the 32-bit and 64-bit version. They are both installed at the same time.

The 64-bit version shortcut on the desktop ends with _64.

Hi,

I'm now using SC's version 1768 64 bit and the same thing occurs that I described above. And that is when the "Always on Top" option is checked under the "Window" tab, those charts will appear on top when SC's is initially loaded. This is an improvement as before that wouldn't occur. However to get those charts to stay on top "Always on Top" has to be unchecked and rechecked under the "Windows" tab after everything is loaded. Any chart that overlaps or covers those charts that have the "Always on Top" checked will overlap or cover them. Any ideas? I don't have any idea what I could be doing wrong here as this is as simple a function as can be.

Thanks

We have consistently not been able to reproduce this. We will look at this a little more and see what we can do, but otherwise we really do not know why there would be a problem.

you might try my (rithmic) chartbook...the vol profile and those relative volume / cumulative delta charts should be always on top but arent with 1770 and SierraChart_64.exe

maybe it also has something to do with windows 10 1803?

We did not test the Chartbook but we did find one problem and resolved it. Overall after we have went into this in depth, we realize that maintaining the Always on Top state is not so simple. There are a lot of considerations and the state can be lost very easily with even an operation such as a window tile operation.

Also the Microsoft documentation on this is confusing and conflicting.
