Today I cannot get clean intraday data from Interactive Brokers TWS for Canadian stocks on the TSX. Everything was working just great last week and over the weekend. Today it is not streaming or back filling intraday data properly at all. I am not sure what has changed. My data subscriptions are up to date and I can stream data for US stocks no problem. Please help at your earliest convenience.

Thanks!

What is meant by "Clean intraday data"? The problem is not clear for us.

Might also be best to first contact Interactive Brokers about this. It sounds like it is something they would be able to help with and not us. Assuming they have the technical competence to help which is a big question.

Sorry for not being clear. The problem is that the intraday and daily data for TSX stocks in Sierra Chart is incorrect and not updating properly. I am not able to update TSX data at all at the moment.

I don't think it is IB TWS because the charts native to IB TWS are updating in real time and match Stockcharts.com and Tradingview.com data. But for some reason Sierra Chart is not able to pull data from IB TWS for TSX stocks correctly.

Would you like to see the message log for this? There are some IB error codes listed there after it completes a historical data update.

Actually this could be an IB problem. I dug through some other TSX stocks using the TWS native charts, and found that a number of the intraday charts have large chunks of missing data. I compared them to tradingview.com and they do not match. The first stock I checked has a clean chart in TWS, but others do not.

I will contact IB for information and get back to you if necessary.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This may be a problem we should look into because the historical data for TSX may be coming from our server.

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Fully re-download the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >>Delete All Data and Download".

After about a minute provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

I uploaded a copy of the log. Please disregard the note I added "Note this was successful update". I made a typo - it was not a successful update - the data is not complete and I am missing data for June 4th.

Also, I have made contact with IB who say they have already been notified of the problem and are investigating.

We can confirm the data is being downloaded from Trader Workstation both properly and in full. Any missing data would be on the Interactive Brokers side.
