is it possible to run 2 completely separate sc platforms?
I have an existing platform which trades thru amp
I would like to have another that trades thru IB
for various legal reasons I cannot have the IB account transferred to amp

1. Yes, you can run multiple and separate Sierra Chart instances. Refer to:

2. You need a Direct Sierra Chart Account to use IB.

When you are using Sierra Chart that has been provided through an affiliate, you do not have a direct paid account with us, and you wish to access functionality that is not provided in your limited version, you must have an account with Sierra Chart directly and have a standard installation of Sierra Chart. To be clear I can maintain my sc/amp trading package for the single account but would need to subscribe directly to sc for the sc/ib account?
There would be no conflict?
I would be able to trade off 2 different trade windows?

i did install another copy but it reverts back to by existing account

Did you create another Sierra Chart account separate from your AMP account?

If so, follow the instructions here to use it with the other copy of Sierra Chart:
