i'm using a 4 tick renko chart for the NQ.
This morning i have a single bar spanning 31 points and over 9 minutes at this point (from 7111.75 down to 7080.75).
when i switch the char to a 6 tick range it looks normal.
Switching back to 4 ticks gives me the same over-extended bar.
5 minute chart on same contract looks normal also.

i've seen this before when scrolling back through days, but not often and i wrote it off to a bad tick. This is obviously something else.
uploading an image of the chart.
As i'm writing the bar did finally end and create a new bar, but only after taking out the high of the bar. for some reason it would not start a new bar on the low. attaching both images, before the new bar, and after the new bar plotted.

I have removed all studies from the chart for uploading purposes.

Attach that particular chart by following these instructions:
Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart

But first try re-downloading the data for the last two days following these instructions:

Sorry, i didn't notice this before sending that last post.

i have done the delete and download.

and just an FYI, if i switch the chart to a 6-tick Renko, it looks to be fine. when i switch back to 4 tick, it reverts back to this long bar.

We found the problem. It was a small programming error.

We do apologize for that. We should have a new release out in about 20 minutes.

The prerelease is version 1726.

We do not see this.

Not sure why that is the case. It does not really make much sense after the issue was resolved.

Try re-downloading the data from before that bar following these instructions here:
Data Errors or Spikes in Charts, Flat or Flat Line Graph, Compressed Graph, Errors with Date/Time Values: 2.1.2 Deleting and Re-downloading Data. (Easier and Recommended Method)

Delete and download did not fix it.

it did seem to correct itself quickly this time, so hopefully just a one-off anomaly.

This is something we need to look into. We need to get that particular chart from you as a Chartbook. Follow the instructions here:
Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart

And also tell us, what time zone that chart is using.

We tried to reproduce the problem using TransAct data and could not. The reason for the problem previously was very obvious. There was a very clear coding error which caused a problem when using the Renko mode which starts a new bar when the open is crossed. Now that is fixed, it is puzzling to us why this would still occur.

This is why we asked for the chartbook to try to reproduce it.

The chart is on the June Contract.

i'm not sure if it is related, but i did recently upgrade to the latest version, 1750.
