Continuous chart bug (appearing from time to time)

I'm using SC 1689, so first of all sorry if it is completely fixed in current version. However, I noticed behavior described below in earlier versions also.

Sometimes a strange bug occurs. For example, I loaded a chart, then changed it to be Continuous, Volume based rollover, Back-adjusted. Then applied changes.
Sierra Chart ignored my "days to load" setting and loaded a lot more days. "Show Rollover Dates" was on, and these markers appeared in correct places, however I've checked chart data between them and it was not correct: did not reflect the form of corresponding contract chart (yes, I took adjustment value into account).
I've changed chart to be Non-Continuous and then again switched it to Continuous, Volume based rollover, Back-adjusted.
The bug disappeared, and "days to load" setting was working correctly this time.

As long as the chart data type is not changing between Historical Chart or Intraday Chart the Days to Load should not change. We would not even know how to reproduce that condition.

If there is any missing or inaccurate data with a Continuous Futures Contract chart, then refer to:

If I find a guaranteed way how to reproduce it - it will let you know.

Thank you for the link. I think in my case changing settings twice worked the same as your advice "Chart >> Reload and Recalculate" would work. However it is strange, why the chart didn't show up correctly for the first time and I needed to take some action. The trouble is that it was very difficult for me to notices price inconsistencies - they were very subtle (as differences between near contracts are), not "significantly invalid price values".

The main purpose of those instructions is not merely to select Chart >> Reload and Recalculate but to re-download the data entirely. This is what we recommend you do now.

OK, thank you, I'll do it. However I don't quite understand how such static things as .scid and .dly files will have an influence on this bug that appear from time to time. I could not manage to reproduce it today. I don't want to waste your time, because my description in the 1st post didn't help you to get any direction, and from my side I cannot provide more evidences for now. May be you can give a hint what I should send you next time I notice the same behavior?

It should not, but we just want to make sure there is no data issue and the data is complete.

We have also learned not to trust what users tell us because often we cannot.

We do not think anything would really help because it is unlikely we would be able to reproduce this. In general though you can let us know the steps to reproduce. And provide an image of the chart before and after.
