We have released support for the the web socket Bitfinex data feed which includes all symbols.

When we say this is non-delayed, what we mean is that this is the streaming data feed rather than previously making requests about every 10 seconds for data. So the updates are now instantaneous rather than lagging every 10 seconds or so.

This is now available to all users except for some broker customers.

The symbols can be found in File >> Find Symbol >> Bitfinex.

Refer to:
File Menu: Getting Symbols

Very cool. I do wish bitfinex took US traders.

If charts were already set up for Bitfinex data does this switch happen automatically?

Bitfinex not yet trading enabled, correct?

BTW many Bitfinex symbols only show data for 2018 (e.g. BCHUSD, ZECUSD), while others show the full data (e.g. LTCUSD).

Is the only 2018 data something that can/will eventually be fixed?

How do we get the full order book (market depth window) to show up?

Right now it only displays a portion of what you can see on the exchange itself

We are processing everything available on the web socket data feed from Bitfinex. We will double check that though.

We are currently observing a problem, since at least yesterday where not all of the market depth levels for Bitfinex symbols are displaying and sometimes they get removed from the market depth array.

This will be resolved.

Although you still can see less levels compared to their web interface because on the web socket protocol it does not appear they are transmitting all the levels.

Is there a way to access ALL available symbols for Bitfinex (or for trade services in general) such that we can easily copy them over to a txt file for importing into watch list, quoteboard, etc...? These crypto symbol names are getting quite long.

In order to see this fix is there something I have to do on my end? My market depth has not changed. In fact, I am no longer able to adjust the precision (increments) as before?

So, do I need an account on Bitfinex to get the data or do I only need a SC service package 3?

Just the standard service package 3 only.

No nothing you need to do. We definitely do see an improvement. Not all of the levels are going to show up because they do not provide them on the web socket interface we use from Bitfinex. Anyway, we will look more to see if there is anything more we can do. Or there is any mishandling.

In regards to the Price Display Format, refer to:
Changing the Price/Value Display Format: Setting the Value Format for the Main Price Graph or Trade DOM

We really have to add a command to the Associated Watch List for this. We will do that.

For first time since last week, I tried to load BTC charts and no data loads from 2/26/18. Are there issues with the data feed? Specifically BTCUSD.

I'm charting Bitfinex symbols via SC. As stated above there is missing historical data feed of some pairs at Bitfinex such as BCHUSD.
I can view full history via tradingview.com.

I'm wondering what would be a temporary or permanent solution for having all historical data in SC.
I contacted tradingview.com support to explore my possibilities of exporting their data. Is it possible complete missing data in SC via this information?
Otherwise, are you working on a solution for this drawback?

Thanks.

Sierra Chart only started maintaining data for the less common crypto currency pairs from Bitfinex, a few months ago.

Before that there is no historical data. If you know of a source for it in a usable text format we can always import it.

Thanks for prompt response.

These guys are selling historical data.

This is a sample file from them.
https://cdn.kaiko.com/samples/Bitfinex_BTCUSD_trades_2017_09_05.csv.gz

I have active subscriptions to Tradingview.com, TradeStation and SC. If possible I'll try to have it via Tradingview.com If not, Please let me know If above format is suitable for SC.
Thanks.

As a member of Bitfinex exchange, I've contacted their support to have missing historical data as well.
They asked, "Could you please specify which type of API you are using?"

Is that possible for you to let me know?
Thanks.

Sierra Chart uses the Bitfinex web socket API.

Also that link you gave for historical data does not provide historical data much further back and it is quite expensive. We would not spend that amount for such a small amount of data.
