Overlay Price study not updating

i have an Overlay study for UBH18 on a chart in region 1, and set the value label to show on the left...and the y axis for the overlay study is also visible on the left. The price of the overlay study is not updating, while the actual source chart for the overlay IS updating. how do i fix this? |

What is the exact name of the Overlay study that you are using? This can be a case where there is a new bar in the source chart but there is no corresponding bar yet in the destination chart. i'm using the Overlay (Bar) study i have a separate chart of the overlay instrument, and it was updating with every tick of the UBH18 security...so i know the security has data coming into SC...but its just not making it over to the overlay study. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-01-10 22:51:55

http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1515625451345.png (the study) and http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1515625482948.png (the source) interestingly, i tried changing the time window of the chart from 6hr to 30min, and the overlay study appears to have grabbed the current price...but then it stayed frozen at that price and does not update as the source data updates. |

aaghhg...never mind...solved it....i was displaying the open price...not the last price..so of course it wasn't changing as the market moved. idiot user error |
