I think I've set this up to see the evening session data, but it's not showing up.

I keep typing interday when I'm talking about intraday.

Make sure the Session Times for the chart are set to include the full 24 hours of trading. Refer to this page:

I've tried all the various setting for 24 hour session start and stop. The chart behaves as if the historical data service is not providing the evening session information at all in the data stream. Is there some setting to enable 24-hour data download that I'm not seeing? Maybe I'm trying to see data that doesn't exist in the data stream. Is evening session price and volume information available in historical data for NYSE-traded stocks?

I think this setup that I'm using is exactly what is suggested in the documentation:

The Chart Settings you show in post #4 is for a stock. We looked at that stock and there really is very little evening trading. Also the evening session begins at 16:00:00.

Every stock is going to be different in regards to pre-and post-market trading.

The pre-and post-market data if they exist, is always downloaded. There is nothing special to do in regards to that.

It seems I was using a poor example. When I charted AAPL it became clear.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, the only way I can get less stupid about this is to ask stupid questions.

Cheers!
