flex renko studies deleted from charts after installing new prerelease 1656

after installing the latest prerelease, the flex renko studies were missing from all my charts leaving a study with "unknown name" and no info within it. All charts reverted to candlesticks. Installing the previous version 1655 did not restore the flex renko study. The study allowed brick size to be altered to .5 or 1.5 or whatever. I found the renko chart study in custom study and it was the one that was deleted. Have to add it back to my charts. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2017-12-03 03:42:22

There are no Flex Renko studies. You must be referring to either the Renko Chart or Renko Chart Enhanced studies. You can add these through Analysis >> Studies >> Add Custom Study >> Sierra Chart Custom Studies and Examples. Right Renko Chart it is. The point i am making is that the Renko Chart study was deleted from all charts upon the upgrade for some reason. Perhaps a glitch in the new version? I dont know. But had to add back the study to all charts and reconfigue them.

This was not intended. The studies were no longer listed in the main list of studies because we did not want new users to think that this is how Renko bars should be created. They are there just for users who want to use these old Renko Chart studies. So when we removed them from the main list, we did not realize at the time, that existing instances would no longer work. That was not something we contemplated. Only a handful of users to our knowledge would be affected by this. We do apologize for the issue.
