study settings write bar and study data to file

I am trying to get a specific data set from this study and I can't seem to make it work. I have placed a zig-zag study on a 5 minute CL chart with only the tick line length and the tick line showing. I have placed the Study Setting: Write Bar and Study Data to File study on it and downloaded the information. When I load the data in excel it only show the first 2 tick line length numbers on it and then all zeros from the first two on. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I have read your instruction several times and I don't see why it won't work. What we want you to do is to use the Spreadsheet Study and then make reference to a particular column outputted by the Spreadsheet study and let us know what the issue is with that. I deleted the study, set up a new spread sheet, checked to make sure the output to spread sheet was set to yes, reloaded and recalculated the chart and there is no data on the spread sheet. Without having to read the whole spread sheet section, how do I get the data on the spread sheet?

So, on a 5 minute chart, 1000 rows doesn't even give me all the data from today. Does that mean that there is no practical to get data for several years?

I have set up 2 different charts of CL, one with a 5 minute time frame and the other with a 30 minute time frame. I have put a zigzag study on both with only the lines and the length of the line being displayed. I then set up 2 different spreadsheets one for each chart and put a spreadsheet study on both. The settings on both spreadsheets studies are identical. The data on the 5 minute spreadsheet shows all the data from the chart, the data on the 30 minute spreadsheet does not show the length of the zigzag line which is the one piece of data that I am looking for. I have deleted the 30 minute spreadsheet and set it up several time. I have tried reloading and recalculating the chart several times and the data for the length of the zigzag line does not show up on that spreadsheet like it does on the 5 minute spreadsheet.
