Good morning,

I've created a new quote board with all securities of my portfolio and linked it on a chart (so when I click on the assets into the quote board I'll get a chart of the securities).

When I'll open a long time frame chart, such as daily, it'll open fast, but when I try to open an intraday chart, (i.e. 240min or 60min) it takes really long time every time that I change the asset from the quote board.

There is some option I can use in order to have a quick switch between chart without having to wait every time?

Thanks,
F.

The best thing to do is just to use separate Intraday charts and not change the symbols.

However, refer to help topic 30.1:

I am watching two charts at the same time (one for each monitor with two different time frame for the same securities).
Let's say for example that I'll create different tabs for each securities as you suggested on the monitor "A" with time frame "X".
Is there a way to modify the underline in the monitor "B" with time frame "Y" at the same time? (A sort of linked connection)

Ps; the chart in the monitor "B" is detached from SC

Many thanks.

You can use Chart Linking for this:

Using separate intraday charts solve the problem of one of the chart used because I already have it opened on monitor 1 and I just have to switch from the tab labelled with the security name.
But when I'll switch from the tab in monitor 1 (in order to move from one market to another) and I have linked it with the chart in monitor 2, this one still takes a lot of time to download the data.

Another thing that still I don't understand is this;
Let's say that chart "A" monitor "A" is linked with chart "B" monitor "B" through chart linking 1.

In monitor "A" I can have multiple tabs opened with different chart each (so monitor "A" can have charts "X,Y, Z" opened due to the bar tab), but in monitor "B" I don't have the tab and I have just chart "B".

It means that in monitor "B", in order to have this linked connection I have to have the same charts already opened, right?

If so, there is a way to bring in front the chart in monitor "B" automatically when I switch through the tabs in monitor 1?

Thanks,
F.

This is not clear for us. It sounds like you are referring to detached charts and here is the documentation for those:
Detaching and Attaching Chart Windows

If the functionality you are looking for is not documented, then it is not available.
