Hi, I'm wondering if there is a function to copy and paste drawing objects from one chart to another chart or chart book? Any help would be great. Thanks! |

Selecting the destination charts is the mystery here. There's no box to fill and no discussion of how to designate a destination chart.

I re-read and studied this documentation you've linked half a dozen times before my previous comment. I apologize for being a slow learner, but as best I can determine, although the term "destination chart" has been mentioned there, this patient response of yours is the very first time anyone has indicated that we need to START this process FROM the "destination" chart. Thank you for your generous help.

I see in the changelog this function has been added a few days ago https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Whats_New.php#SCVer2754 Copy and paste functionality for Chart Drawings to copy a Chart Drawing from one chart to another chart.
I can't find help articles how to use it nor can I find any changes in Sierra interface to actually copy paste the drawings. How does this work please?

The functionality is under the "Edit" menu. There are new items for "Copy Chart Drawing" and "Paste Chart Drawing". Note that in order to copy a drawing, the drawing itself must be selected first, then the option for "Edit >> Copy Chart Drawing" will be available. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
