OsMa Indicator Definition Moving Average of Oscillator (OsMA) is a technical analysis tool that reflects the difference between an oscillator (MACD) and its moving average (signal line). Thanks |

This can be done by using the Study Subgraphs Difference study: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/TechnicalStudiesReference.php#s227 However, the MACD study already has the calculation you want. OsMA is simply the histogram of the MACD indicator. That's it. Nothing special to see here. For context, the histogram is a recent addition to the original MACD indicator developed by Gerald Appel, back in the early 80s. |
