Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to develop a strategy with Sierra charting and I would like for your advice. I use number of trader per bar as chart type and then add the Renko chart from the available studies to M1 timeframe. The problem is that still the chart behaves as a simple Renko chart without taking into account the number per bars traded as a parameter. Could you please let me know how I can combine them and test also different chart timeframes? In addition I would like to know if I can add the number bars study. This does not make any logical sense: I use number of trader per bar as chart type and then add the Renko chart from the available studies to M1 timeframe.
In that you are describing an impossibility. You cannot have a chart bar based upon a certain number of trades and also be 1 minute. Also we do not recommend using the Renko studies but instead the Renko Bar Period Type: Renko Bar Charts Please do not try to do what you are thinking about above. It is just simply not supported whatsoever and we will provide no help with it because we cannot.
