Hello! I have a problem with trading log. I can't see my trades, i've set 365 days 'Number of Days to Save in Trade Activity Log' in sim-trading. I've set up date frame properly. I have even tried to copy recent Tradeactivitylog.dat file to main instalation folder. I've observed that i can only see trades in log, when I copy some old .dat file, but I can only see trades from the day that .dat file was created. I'm now out of options and I need this trading log to be available. I'd be glad if You could help me with that issue.
Best regards,
Maciej Klimkiewicz

We need to understand this better. It is far from clear as to exactly what the problem is.

Are you referring to simulated trading with Trade>> Trade Simulation Mode On enabled?

When you submit a new order and it fills, do you see that order fill in the Trade Activity Log >> Trade Activity tab. There should be no problem with that at all. Here are instructions to use that tab:

Yes, I made trades on trade simulation mode on. I know there should be no problem, but I guess here is an exception. I've really tried all options described in suppors site and it doesn't work correctly. I've made a trade today and this is the only trade visible in trade activity log, despite date range set up from 1.03.17 to today, and few trades made in that date frame.

Attach the TradeActivityLog.dat file here from the main Sierra Chart installation folder and we will have a look to see what is in it.

Hmm, it is strange, because I can see 2 trades, first at 2-27 and second at 3-8. I've set date range from 1-1 to today. I've made 16 trades from 1-1 to today. There are even TradeActivityLog.dat files in backups folder, but most of them as you could see didn't show on trade activity log.

The particular Trade Activity Log attached contains 18 order fills. We verified they can all be viewed through the user interface on the Trade Activity tab of the Trade Activity Log.

We can only tell you what we see.

You may want to periodically look at the Trade >> Trade Service Log and make sure there are not any file errors writing to the Trade Activity Log file. That could be the problem.

Do you think reinstalling sierrachart and pasting current Tradeactivitylog.dat file to installation folder would help? I can only see 4 fills in trade activity tab so I guess that could be the only solution for now.

Do not reinstall Sierra Chart.

Tell us what particular order fills you want to see. We want to know the symbol, trade account, and date and tell us how you have the controls at the top of the Trade Activity Log set.

Ok, controls setup: All Activity, All Internal Order IDs, [Sim]All Symbols, Sim1, Long&Short, From 2017-01-01 To Today. Fills that are on the list:
1: [Sim]CLJ7, Sim1, 17-02-27
2: [Sim]CLJ7, Sim1, 17-02-27
3: [Sim]CLJ7, Sim1, 17-02-27
4: [Sim]CLJ7, Sim1, 17-02-27
5: [Sim]GCJ7, Sim1, 17-03-08
6: [Sim]GCJ7, Sim1, 17-03-08
7: [Sim]GCJ7, Sim1, 17-03-08
8: [Sim]GCJ7, Sim1, 17-03-08
I've written before that i could see 4 fills, I meant 4 trades.

Yes we see the same thing. That is all of the data in the Trade Activity Log for that symbol and account starting after the date mentioned. That is all we can say.

And that is the problem, because there were much more trades in that time. I can send you .dat files from the backups folder if it could bring solution.

Hello, I still have a problem with trades in trading log. I've formated computer few days ago, installed sierra charts and today I've noticed that there is no trade from 22.03.2017 in trading log. I feel vulnerable with this problem. Could you help me with this? Maybe we could use remote assistance?

Was Sierra Chart running at the time the orders executed that the missing order fills are for?

Based upon what you describe in the prior post, if you started with a fresh installation of Sierra Chart, there is not going to be any trading activity for 2017-03-22.

All of this is well documented. There is nothing further we can add here.

Refer to:

Trade Activity Log: Missing Order Fills from Trade Activity Log
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/TradeActivityLog.php#MissingTradeActivityAndBackupFiles

It is not going to help to use a remote assistance session for this. At this point we have to decline further support.

I've started fresh installation before 2017-03-22 so it should be in trading log. Sierra Chart was running at the time orders were executed.

There is another part to this that you are not aware of.

If the orders were not entered from Sierra Chart this can also be a problem. We see you are using Transact. Refer to:
