Lately I'm getting solid black backgrounds using the "AskVol BidVol Diagonal Difference Percentage" (the bottom option in the drop-down). (See attached screenshots)

My colors for the thresholds do not have any black.

The first thought was that there was no data for this level - so I've deleted and redownloaded (nevertheless, my text color is black, and if I make it white, there is data there).

I've also tried:
1) two different data sources
2) two different machines
3) wireless and ethernet
4) changing the compare threshold values
5) adding a 4th compare threshold value

Please advise.

We need a Chartbook with this chart configured as it is.

Attached is the chart. You said "configured as it is", but per the instructions, I removed all studies, and the problem is still manifest so I'm sending it. Perhaps you said "configured as it is" because once I sent in a blank chart? Great memory. To be safe, I'm attaching the chart "as is" as well - please let me know what you meant for future reference.

Okay, I understand now. Since I have a black background it is just left blank. Got it.

I was told by a trading partner, that my backgrounds are not being colored the way I wanted them to be:

Bid X Ask diagonal difference, based on values in the compare threshold (1,550,1000), NOT percentages.

I'm using the Ask Volume and Bid Volume Diagonal Difference Percentage.. is this correct? And are my bars being colored by the diagonal difference absolute value?

Percentage works similarly for lower values, but on heavy volume, this would be inaccurate for some of my signals.

Disregard the prior post. It was not correct.

If the threshold numbers are >= 1, then they are considered actual compare values (except for Dominant Side comparisons), and the comparisons are made against the actual values instead of percentages.
