Hello,

I am not sure if I have done this properly. Let me fill you in on what I was thinking when I was setting up the account.

What I have done now:
- I have a TD Ameritrade account, which I have connected. One thing is I do not have it funded since I have been using Ninjatrader as my former charting service.
- I signed up for the 5 USD trial set up on the data exchange. My question is- do I need to fund it to receive the benefits of the trial?

Would this be easier?:
- I also have a Dorman Trading live account, with data exchange. Would I be able to integrate this here?
- AND do I need to add the $10 CTS add on option, if this is feasible?

Please let me know as I currently cant get any data on my Sierra platform & studies.

Yes this would be an easy way to do it. Is this a CQG, Rithmic or CTS account through Dorman?

Not unless you plan to use CTS but this is not really important at the moment.

Okay- can you help me with the Dorman set up? .. I have the account # but there is no user name, should I contact Dorman?

And no this account is with Dorman, but opened through NinjaTrader.

I do not plan to use CTS.

Could you ask Dorman whether the account uses CQG, Rithmic or CTS. So that we can give you the correct instructions.

And you will need a username and password for that account.

Can you disable all the TD Ameritrade stuff?

We noticed that you posted your CQG username/password. We deleted that. We strongly recommend that you change your CQG password. Please do not post that information here.

Since you have a CQG account, follow through the instructions here:
CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

There is nothing that needs to be disabled related to TD Ameritrade.

If you have any trouble connecting to CQG, we will need to see a copy of the Message Log. Provide that by following these instructions here:

It is not unusual to have trouble connecting, because it is possible your CQG account through Dorman may not be properly set up. Once we see the connection information we will know what the problem is.

Ok- I have set up the connection on my side, but it says 'Trader is not enabled to use SierraChart. Please contact your FCM'

Contact Dorman and let them know you are getting this message:
'Trader is not enabled to use SierraChart. Please contact your FCM'

OK.. I still don't have any data feeding into my account (but it does say connected now).. On my Dorman/NinjaTrader account I'm enabled for NYMEX & CME... Do I have to activate additional connections for Sierra as well??
