question: why sometimes the daily volume of a stock is not equal to ur bid ask volume?
What happends with volume that is traded between bid and ask?

Ur data on bid ask volume is trustworthy, isn't it? At the start I compared with marketdelta and it kind a was. Now I am a little bid unsure.

Thanks for answering.

Give us a very specific example and explain precisely how you are determining this.

It if it is from an Intraday chart, what are the Session Times and what is the time zone?

I did change start time and end time. Volume now comes closer... but now there is an additional bar on the chart. What am I doing wrong?

The Session Times shown in post #8 are now correct.

So we do not see anything wrong.

You should now see this volume:
2017-01-06 00:00:00.000 Bar Begin Time
GILD [M] 1 Day #43 ()
Volume: 8267662

If not, re-download the data:

What additional bar are you asking about? In any case, the bars that you see are based upon the data in the chart and the Chart Settings. You need to be clear to us about specifically what you are seeing and why it should be different based upon the data for the symbol and based upon the Chart Settings.

its o.k. all good. thanks.

Problem is that if I change symbol, all the settings get kicked back again...

I then tried to to this...

"Preventing the Changing of Intraday Chart Session Times
To prevent the Session Times from being changed when the symbol of an Intraday chart is changed, do the following:

Make sure Global Settings >> Symbol Settings >> Apply Intraday Session Times to Intraday Chart is unchecked.
Make sure Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Apply Intraday Session Times to Intraday Chart is unchecked.

"

Didnt work. Still changing everytime I change a symbol... And fwiw, in chart settings I did not find what was written in ur explanation... So I am so far not able to make sure that time settings are not changed when I change the symbol.

We have verified that those instructions are correct and the Session Times do not change when the symbol is changed.

This setting actually exists:
Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Apply Intraday Session Times to Intraday Chart

Check again. It is there.
