$5 dollar cme data trial for 2 weeks

I am trying to activate the 2 week free cme data trial. I am not sure if it worked. it says auto renewal under 1st data for $35 but i clicked on the trial and i have $5 dollar taken out of my credit, can someone please verify that i have activated the 2 week full cme data trial

I was told to wait untill the beginning of the month so I am trying to activate it now for the next 2 weeks in november

It is not yet November 1 in any US time zone at this time. You should have been aware of that.

Because you activated before November 1, you lost access to the trial for two weeks. It is only going to be active for a few more hours and that is it.

Furthermore, you also need to activate a CME exchange. Otherwise, you are not going to get any real-time data. And we did say to wait till November 1 to take advantage of the exchange trial since they only are until the end of the month they are activated in.

We will see what we can do to cancel the data feed and allow it to be activated in November.

I understand that it wasn't November but the market was closed. The business day was closed. and you're speaking to me like i am an idiot. I am at least a customer who deserves to be treated with common courtesy from a customer service representative. please let me know if you can get my data activated for tomorrow. or i will get get my data through interactive Brokers

We do not make any apologies here. We waste far too much time with with market data feed questions especially with exchange fees. Refer to:

There is a significant effort on our part to clean up what has happened and to allow you to get the 5 USD trial again which we are doing.

We also had you confused with someone else who we already answered a lot of questions to in the last couple of days relating to the market data feed and they were not reading the clear instructions.

If you have a complaint, post it out in public. It is fine to us to have the complaints out in public. Although it will not change anything. We always do our best and our main concern is technical reliability.

The above statements, are not critical of you in any way, we are just simply saying that we are direct and to the point and work hard to do things right. This is all. We do not think you are an idiot.

We are working on getting you the trial again.

Also when people say we have *rude* support, it is taken as a compliment because to us it means we are direct and to the point. We work hard to do things right. There simply is no nonsense from us. You should be happy you are getting support direct from engineers instead of a customer service representative. We do not make any apologies here. That is the honest truth. When you are in this business, and see all of the garbage from external trading and data services and all the nonsense and unfairness from exchanges, you would understand. You mention Interactive Brokers. Interactive Brokers is a good example of where you will have a lot of technical problems and when you communicate with them, those problems are going to go not properly resolved in many cases.


Also another thing that we have done in response to this that we did not say, is that we now show how many days the data feed trial will be before before the user activates it. So in this case, it would have shown the trial was going to be for 0 days.

Anyway, we are going to update this thread when the trial is available. And make sure you get credit for the previous one.

The data feed trial is now active on your account and we have enabled the CME exchange with market depth data.

Follow through the instructions here to connect to your Interactive Brokers account to be able to use the real-time CME data:

Not sure if you want market depth data or not but it will be provided this month. Let us know if you do not want to continue with that.

If you were aware of the internal complaints between a couple of engineers, related to CME exchange fees, you would understand. They have the most stupidest and unfair policies and we waste far too much time related to exchange fees. Probably not a day that goes by that we do not complain about that.
