Hello,

I seem to constantly have holes in my data, often quite randomly.
I have two data suppliers and depending on which one I am connected to changes what data is shown, neither of them complete.
For both suppliers I have tried deleting and downloading the data numerous times, often it just makes the problem worse and I get even less data.

Also when changing the Date Range in File From date (in chart settings) it just blanks out and puts whatever random date it wants in there. #

Additionally by one supplier, It won't download data from previous contracts, however when changing to SC Data feed it does with the same settings, albeit data is incomplete.

Can you please helpe me.

I have two data suppliers
What specific Data and Trading services are you referring to? Understand that the symbols are going to be different between services and you cannot really switch between services without having to change the symbols in many cases.

Here is the documentation for missing data in Intraday charts:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/HistoricalIntradayData.html#RetryDownloadDataInChart

Also, if you adjust the Date Range in File >> From date, the date you specify is not necessarily going to be the date that is available and it will change to what is available. This is explained here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ChartSettings.html#DateRangeInFile

When you have a problem we need you to try re-downloading the data as is documented and provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#MessageLog

And let us know what specific symbol you had a problem with. And only tell us one of the symbols.

Thanks for your response.

I am using the SC Data Feed and GAIN Capital.

I have since downladed the newest versions of SC updated global symbol settings and with the SC Data then deleted all files. It did the trick.

Only problem is with GAIN data, I can not seem to get data for prior contract since I rolled over.
Selecting to delete all data and download, then clicking no on the pop up results in no action.
I have not been able to find the answer on the following link.

You cannot switch between services like you are. This is not going to work properly.

You are not using the correct symbols. Each service has its own symbols. You need to use the symbols in File >> Find Symbol for the specific Service you are using.

You cannot use ESZ16 with Gain Capital because it has a two digit year.

Here is the relevant help topic about this:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails1.php#h1.3

You really need to install another copy of Sierra Chart with each one set to use a separate service:
