What study is used to plot a line of the difference between two symbols? study subgraph difference? If so I cant quite figure it out. I assume i need the two symbols in one chart?

Ex: I want to see the difference, plotted as a line, of (AMZN - GOOGL)

Thanks

Tom

You need to use the Difference (Line) study:

Thanks, that works...Two additional questions:

1) can I invert this graph I have created? make the highs lows and lows highs?

2) can I now make a moving average of this difference line I have created?

Thanks!

1. You could try inverting the prices of each chart using this Chart Setting and see if that accomplishes what you require:
Chart Settings: Invert Prices (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu)

2. You need to use this Study Setting:
Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Display As Main Price Graph
