Data problems

I'm using SC in conjunction with TopStep Traders, so I'm using the CTS data feed. I've had a problem that has occurred 4 times already. My trade data is incomplete or inaccurate. Some manifestations of this problem occur at the beginning of the trade day and then somehow resolve and do not recur later in the day. Other aspects do not seem to be addressed at all.

1) The trade positions do not show on the charts and sometimes do not show on the Trade Activity Log. The problem is inconsistent but seems to happen most at the beginning of the trading day. For some reason, later in the trading day there is no problem with position info to be properly displayed. This causes (or is related to) another issue: It is not possible to close a position that doesn't properly display on the chart.

For your information, ALL orders have been placed on the Sierra Charts platform, no external order entry application was used for any of my orders.

The screen shot shows an order has been opened. The Trade/Chart Trade Mode On and Trade/Show Orders and Position are checked for this chart. Yet the open position is not visible. In this case, the Trade Activity Log/Trade Stats for Charts tab correctly shows the position and P/L, but on previous days, that information did not properly display.

2) When the screen shot was taken, I had a stop loss order on this chart which also does not display.

3) After the screen shot was taken, the sell order hit the stop and a buy stop order was properly executed. The Trade Activity Log correctly shows that 2 orders filled for the day, but it now shows 1 open order in a long position and is showing P/L activity.

4) Only the Trade Activity Log/Trade Stats for Charts tab shows information as I expect. The Trade Activity tab only shows connection info (Connected to server, Requesting Open orders from trading service, and Disconnected from server). No actual order info is displayed even though dozens of orders have been processed. The Trade Statistics tab shows the correct account name, but all fields show as 0.00. The Trades tab and Period Trade Stats tab both have no info displayed.

5) The Orders and Positions Orders tab has a large number of orders listed, but none of the orders processed today display. The positions tab shows no entries.

I've listed all these issues together because they seem related to me.

Please do the following:

1. Update Sierra Chart to the latest prerelease:

Nothing has changed in the latest prerelease which will solve this, but we did find a problem where under certain conditions Positions would not display on the Positions tab. But that would not affect the internal Position tracking or the display of Position data on charts.

2. Make sure you are using the Trade Activity Log properly:

3. Make sure the correct Trade Account on the chart is set:

5. When you have the problem where you do not see the current Position or Orders, let us know the details of the Position and Orders. Restart Sierra Chart. Do not open any charts. Connect with File >> Connect to Data Feed.
