hi there. i am in topsteptrader program, using ritmic datafeed and sudenly it stoped working for me.. when i contact topsteptrader supprot they reply i should contact you, that it is on your side..

this is their reply to my problems about putting orders..


This week some of the order numbers in Rithmic Paper Trading got to a very high range. This has caused issues for for the Sierra Chart platform, which uses an older version of the R|API. This is the reason you've experienced trouble with your account. Rithmic has brought this to Sierra Chart's attention and have explained to them that they need to upgrade, however they are unlikely to do so this weekend.
In order to eliminate problems for third party applications, Rithmic will cancel all GTC orders this weekend which have an order number higher than 100,000,000.

Please check directly with Sierra Chart for more information on when they plan to upgrade.

Rithmic made a change so that an update of the API that Sierra Chart uses is not necessary.

Furthermore we pointed out to Rithmic that there is not a new version of the API that they have made available to us. So at this moment we do not have it. Sierra Chart is already using the latest API that Rithmic last provided to us.

And, Rithmic never provided any notice about a newer API and still has not made it available. So all of this is completely new to us.

Also it is rather clear the problem you are experiencing is totally unrelated to the order ID issue.

The Rithmic error messages in the Trade Service Log say "account not active". You need to contact Top Step Trader about this and let them know.
