Hi I signed up with TeleTrader yesterday for live futures data feed for EUREX, CME and CBOT and various FOREX. The CME/CBOT agreements have been authorized and TeleTrader has activated all the contracts. On the symbols search though I only get the DAX and nothing else. I have checked the symbol settings, updated/reset, disconnected and connected again but still the only available symbol is DAX. I contacted TeleTrader and they assured me that they activated EUREX, CME, CBOT and the FOREX symbols. Please find attached the screenshot of my symbol search. Thanks!

We apologize for this. With a particular version you are running we are still working on the search capability for TeleTrader. It is being significantly enhanced. We are actually working on it right now. We will have it all finalized by the end of the day. Obviously we did not get the release out within the 30 minutes we mentioned because there was a lot more work. We are done with the changes. There is a little more work we are doing but it is not relevant for the basic functionality which is now working. We have added an extra 7 days of usage time to your account to make up for this delay. Update Sierra Chart to the latest release by following these instructions here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate You should be getting version 1333. We are also going to be updating the TeleTrader documentation to explain how to use the File >> Find Symbol window with the current changes but hopefully it should be obvious based on the current instructions. There might actually be an unrelated problem with 1333 we are looking into at the moment.

You may not have noticed a problem with 1333 but there was a small issue with one of the fields in the main configuration file and it has now been resolved. We are releasing 1334.

I really hate to do this again but my symbol search still shows me that only the DAX is available. Screenshot 1 attached is how I view my search. When I open up a certain category like the FUTURES, it includes the same exchanges which cannot be opened in order to select a product. At the very bottom of the list, I find only the DAX is available (screenshot 2). I can download both historical/intraday data normally only for that. The DAX should have been in the EUREX category but nothing else is available. Sorry to bother you again guyz! Thanks |

Everything looks good in those screenshots. You just need to follow through the instructions we linked to, to search for the symbols. The symbols are not going to be automatically listed. You have to enter the first letter or part of the symbol and then search for it. It is important to remember that you need to enter the beginning portion of the symbol. You cannot enter a middle or end portion. Also, curious why you chose TeleTrader rather than the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. Since the exchanges you are using are all available with our data feed as well: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php Historical data delivery with the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed is going to be far faster and the SC Exchange Data Feed has a very low latency connection to the CME. Also if you want continuous futures contracts, none of the rollover rules are set up for TeleTrader other than the DAX (which is why you always see that one listed). We have to manually define the others so that is more effort for us. Do not be afraid to bother us about any problems you have when using TeleTrader, we are here to help as long as it is within our control. I literally didn't know about Sierra providing real time futures feed that's why I was considering TeleTrader or TransAct futures. The good thing is that I only paid for 1 month which means starting from 01/1/2016 I will be using your service! Thanks for letting me know!! |

In response to your previous post about the continuous futures contracts with Teletrader... Tomorrow is the last trading day for the EUREX fixed income products like FGBS,FGBM,FGBL, FOAT and FEU3. Would you kindly update the March 2016 contracts to include historical data please (as far as you can)? THanks
