SC Volume by price gives different results from other trading platforms.

My Volume by price results from SierraChart differ form other trading platforms volume by price results. Live results are identical, but little back are different. Somebody knows why? Somebody compare VBP results from different trading platforms?

We see you are using the Rithmic data feed. This is a good data feed.

The historical data comes from the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service which is also good.

You can trust results that you are getting. However, refer to the steps of information here:

To make sure you have done everything you should to ensure the Volume Profiles are accurate.

Some slight inaccuracies are inevitable due to CME packet loss when volumes are high. Percentagewise this would probably be .01% or less. Usually less.

If You see 2 of 4 bars are identical. it means, that options are synchronized (time, time scale, price scale etc). If somebody could recheck my results, please post it here.

Last 30 minutes distribution: total volume exactly the same for every bar, price count for every bar is identical, but volume distribution between prices is differ. what do you suggest to check?

I connect to ES Rythmic Data feed 4:45 Chicago time and collect data till 6:00 (see picture before). At 6:00 I delete and download data from 2:00 and get different result from 4:45. (see picture after). data feed "before" is identical with other TF data (see picture other TF) from 4:45 till 6:00. It means online data is distributed right, and historical data from server not right? Why I get different result after delete and download? Maybe is time synchrinization problem between online data and server?

We are quite busy. We needed to have the time to examine this closely.

We have now done that. We have only examined one of the charts and that is the chart in post #16. We will not examine any other charts. We can see that the volume at price levels are significantly inaccurate in that chart.

Make sure Sierra Chart is set to a tick by tick data configuration:

Also perform a Full Reset of the Symbol Settings as explained here:

The volume data should be accurate after deleting and downloading the data again.

So long as Sierra Chart is set to a tick by tick data configuration, the symbol settings are correct, and you re-download the data, it is a 100% certainty, you will get a match to the images we posted.

No, it does not matter.

Really this is not making sense. We continue to see differences when we should not after you re-download the data.

We want you to restart Sierra Chart. Only open a chart for ESZ5-CME and no other symbol.

Re-download the data with Edit >> Delete All Data and Download. After this, post a copy of the Message Log. Here are instructions:

As we indicated in post #10 and #18 you need to set Sierra Chart to a tick by tick data configuration as explained here:

Yes, I see, that I can't download tick by tick data. I set 1 tick data, but download failed and SC shows me 1 second data. What is the problem? Rythmic? What to do?

Yes actually that is true and that is a detail we overlooked. The problem is you are on Sierra Chart service package 3.

You will need to contact your broker and have them put you on service package 5.
