V. 978 is not working using Mode 1 to connect to Tranact/Infini

This is an BIG issue. V978 is not working using Mode 1(UDP) with Transact. We have to UN-check "use Mode 1".

It's too slow to use TCP.

This is Not acceptable.

Please fix it ASAP.

Did you find the solution yet? do I need to revert back to old version?

V978 is not working using Mode 1(UDP) with Transact. We have to UN-check "use Mode 1" to connect to Transact/Infinity.

It's terrible slow today when Fed meeting Minutes was anounced.

i had to unblock it from windows firewall, that might be it. i got a pop up, your's may have automatically blocked it

i would like to add that my data sometimes cuts off, sometimes its just an instrument or two, and sometimes its all of them then i have to disconnect and connect to refresh it. if that doesnt work i have to completely restart sierra. it didnt happen during the session thankfully, but it did both before and after.

For this particular issue:

Error connecting socket: Windows error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. | 2013-05-22 21:30:57
Do the following:
1. Update Sierra Chart by selecting Help >> Download Prerelease.

2. After this, you will see a line in the Message Log like this:
General Service - Starting server: D:\SierraChart\Transact\TransactToSierraBridge.exe

3. You will need to allow through the Windows firewall and any other firewall software you are running on the computer, the file that is in bold. That should solve the problem.

If you are still having this specific issue:

NO.

V.978 frozen and needs to restart the connection today during the demo/live trading session for UDP connection to Transact/Infinity.


V.976 UDP connection stop working during live trading session and I had to switch to TCP connection to Transact/Infinity.


Please fix it asap.

If you are having trouble with a UDP conn, then on the TransAct bridge program (you will see an icon for this on the Taskbar), you will want to uncheck the option to use Mode 1. After that, reconnect to the data feed from within Sierra Chart using the commands on the File menu.
