For this particular issue:
Do the following:
Error connecting socket: Windows error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. | 2013-05-22 21:30:57
1. Update Sierra Chart by selecting Help >> Download Prerelease.
2. After this, you will see a line in the Message Log like this:
General Service - Starting server: D:\SierraChart\Transact\TransactToSierraBridge.exe
3. You will need to allow through the Windows firewall and any other firewall software you are running on the computer, the file that is in bold. That should solve the problem.

V978 is not working using Mode 1(UDP) with Transact. We have to UN-check "use Mode 1" to connect to Transact/Infinity.
