Last time you said that if Volume rollover will fail and fall back to Date rollover, that the chart name will indicate it and will show it as [C] and not [CV]. Well i'm on SC 1213 and the problem is still here. ES chart showed [CV] while volume histogram looked weird. checking the msg log it showed that you have a problem: Error Jumping to date in file: ESH15.dly
I deleted all four relevant files (ESH5 and ESZ4 scid and dly), but the same problem was still the same.Checking file sizes it showed that ESH15.dly had a size of 1k while ESZ14.dly was 18k Only after I manually opened a historical chart of ESH15.dly SC downloaded and populated it with data... and now the continuous volume rollover works. 1. Why chart name showed [CV] while SC failed to volume rollover and fell back to Date rollover? 2. Shouldn't ESH15.dly download data after deletion without users opening a historical chart? |

1. It was decided, that this was not so easily done so this was not changed. 2. We see why this happens in some cases and it will be fixed in the next release. 1. My setup outputs 1721 log lines every time I load it... its not a simple task to spot that you have an error line there somewhere. And to do this every day, sometimes again in mid day if there is a need to reload. would you be ok with this? At least color error lines in the msg log (like a red background) so they will be easier to spot. |
