Last time you said that if Volume rollover will fail and fall back to Date rollover, that the chart name will indicate it and will show it as [C] and not [CV].
Well i'm on SC 1213 and the problem is still here.
ES chart showed [CV] while volume histogram looked weird. checking the msg log it showed that you have a problem:
Error Jumping to date in file: ESH15.dly
I deleted all four relevant files (ESH5 and ESZ4 scid and dly), but the same problem was still the same.
Checking file sizes it showed that ESH15.dly had a size of 1k while ESZ14.dly was 18k
Only after I manually opened a historical chart of ESH15.dly SC downloaded and populated it with data... and now the continuous volume rollover works.

1. Why chart name showed [CV] while SC failed to volume rollover and fell back to Date rollover?
2. Shouldn't ESH15.dly download data after deletion without users opening a historical chart?
