Hi there I am trying to get CFD data from IB to work. The stock I was looking at was BG. which is on the LSE. I added the code BG.-CFD-SMART-GBP-BAAVG however I get the error to say unable to download historical data for CFDs. I am able to do this in the TWS platform so should I not be able to do it here? This leads me to my next question - I don't really understand the advantage to using Sierra over just using TWS. The only advantage I can see is that there are more indicators. Other than this there are things missing such as the ability to scan a whole market - e.g to pull up results from the LSE or NYSE for 2 month highs. I am not interested in automated trading, so what can I do better with Sierra that I cannot do with TWS? Any input here would be great. Thanks a lot |
