Symbol QQQ price bars/data is not updating in realtime, but the Current Price value is correctly moving within the Values Scale. After performing a "Delete and Download Data" the Bars will update successfully but will not record any new incoming data from that point on. Yesterday this problem was only with the symbol SPY and the day before that only the Symbol FXI had this problem.

I only noticed this problem recently when I added charts of these symbols and a few others to start watching.

Is this an issue specific to ETF symbols? or is this a CPU or RAM issue caused by the additional charts?

SC version 1204
Data feed:Interactive Brokers
PC: Intel core duo laptop, Windows 7, 4MB ram

I'm not sure which specific category my problem falls under. The chart was working fine up until around 1:30 est. when I noticed the chart stopped updating new bars. That's when I first performed "delete and download data". But the bars never updated again for the rest of the day. I just kept performing delete and download data over and over to get new data.

The Help topic you suggested doesn't seem to address my specific problem of a working chart suddenly malfunctioning during the trading day.

Also this happened to SPY yesterday and FXI the day before but they are both fine today. Now its QQQ. So i don't think re-booting or re-downloading will fix the overall problem as it seems to just affect a different symbol every new day at a random time of day.

Since all my other charts/symbols are working fine all day what could have happened to the QQQ chart today that caused the data problems to begin at 1:30. I did not change any settings or make any edits during the trading day I was only watching the charts.

Actually, it just occurred to us what the problem is.

This is an Interactive Brokers data feed issue.

And actually it is covered in help topic 3.11:
