ok so now i am running the same chart on 2 different instances of denali...i took this chart form the original denali machine...we will call this machine #1... and shared it to my machine i normally run rithmic, we will call this machine #2... on...i then closed sierra charts on machine 2...i then a seperate download of sierra charts on machimne 2...i shared the chart from machiine 1 via email and then downloaded it to my downloads...i then opened it on machine #2 with the denali feed...i left all the settings all the analysis the same touched nothing....opened in in a totally different versioof sierra charts...and this bar that has the arrow drawn does not match ...the start time is off the opening is off....so am so confused because my machine #1 with denali and my buddies rithmic matches but my machine does not no matter if i run it in sierra charts in rithmic or sierra charts in denali

The implication from what you are stating is that there is something in a Global setting that is different between the two systems. The two things we can think of offhand, are the following: - Global Time Zone: If this is set different and the charts are using the Global Time Zone, then this could lead to differences in the data. - Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Intraday Data Storage Time Unit: This would affect how the data is stored, which would lead to differences in non-time based charts. ok so i think i figured it out i have 18:00- 17:00 set as session start and end time on machine #2 and the data does not match machine 1 both using denali......if i make machine #2 930-1700 then an overnight session....18:00:00 -9:29:59 it matches...tif i do the same change the time on machine #1 nothing changes it the data remains the same ...machine #1 is using version 2812 64 bit and machine 2 is using 2807 64 bit...this is denali to denali comparison...remember machine 2 is using two installs for sierra charts....this is just comparing denali to denali...it appears to be the same on the other instalation of sierra charts that i run rithmic on....which version is 2888 64 bit....so for some reason the machine i use predominatley if i have the session time from 18:00:00 - 17;00:00 for ES the data can be forr on volume based bars and fottprints etc....i check with my buddy and he is using 18:00:00 - 17:00:00 and he does not have this problem....

We are not really following the exact situation, but it sounds like you have the root of the problem. Therefore, make sure your time zones and Session Times are set the same between the systems, or set as you want them to be, and understand what that means for how the data will display. One other item of note - you refer to your Rithmic installation as different from "Denali". If that Rithmic installation has the option for "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support For Sierra Chart Data Feeds" set to "Yes", then that installation is getting the exact same data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed as your other installations. You are setup to get the data to two different computers at the same time. Given this, you should have the same data and hence the same charts, as long as the settings between the installations is the same. ok so what is bizarre to me is that the 500 volume bar at a specific time 9:32:17 seconds today can have a different low if my chart session time is 18:00:00 to 17:00 with no overnigth or if my chart session is 9:30 - 17:00 and i have a overnigth session from 18:00 -9:29:59 all other things being equal

If you have the option for "New Bar at Session Start" set to "Yes", then having a single 23 hour session versus a 23 hour session broken into two parts (day and evening) will definitely give you different results for a non-time-based chart (i.e. a Volume chart). This is because there is a new bar being started at 09:30:00 in the situation with the Evening Session set to "Yes", regardless of whether the previous bar reached a volume of 500 or not. Also, be careful with your Session Times. You need to have the Ending Time set to 1 second before the hour. So if you want the main session to go from 18:00:00 to 17:00:00, then you need to set the End Time to "16:59:59". ok was this a change to the code after version 2807 64 bit...because on machine 1, which is currently running 2807 version...i have 23 hr session with no for use evening session selected...and new bar at session start set to yes...on machine 2 i have set the session time 930-165959 and yes for overnight session with time parameter 18-92959 and the new bar at session set to yes....machine 2 is running version 2888 64 bit and the bars are exactly the same...
