If you have the option for "New Bar at Session Start" set to "Yes", then having a single 23 hour session versus a 23 hour session broken into two parts (day and evening) will definitely give you different results for a non-time-based chart (i.e. a Volume chart). This is because there is a new bar being started at 09:30:00 in the situation with the Evening Session set to "Yes", regardless of whether the previous bar reached a volume of 500 or not. Also, be careful with your Session Times. You need to have the Ending Time set to 1 second before the hour. So if you want the main session to go from 18:00:00 to 17:00:00, then you need to set the End Time to "16:59:59".
