https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1781789215321.png My GC DOM is Crossed and prices are incorrect/missing/gapped as well as some incorrect quantities as far as I can compare to TT. In some price levels the qty is actually illegible or layering multiple qty's. Of note, last trade price is UPDATING CORRECTLY. See Screenshot. Steps I've tried: - Chart Setting >> Tick Size & Price Display are set to = 1 tick - Chart Settings >> Market Depth >> Market Depth Combine Increment Ticks = 1 - Auto-Set From Data Feed Toggle Yes/Apply - Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Days to load change to 10 from 1. - Global Settings >> Symbol Settings >> Uncheck "Use Custom Symbol Setting Values" >> Update from server >> Apply/Ok. - Chart >> Reload and Recalculate - Open Trade DOM from Scratch: File >> Open Trading DOM >> Choose "GCQ26_FUT_CME" >> Open Trading DOM Button [Confirmed Q26 is highest volume/ front Month Contract] - Edit >> Delete All Data and Download ---> Found out [message log] that feature is only good for intraday chart data Please Advise. Set this to 0: - Chart Settings >> Market Depth >> Market Depth Combine Increment Ticks = 1 Although it should not matter if it is 1. Reconnect with File >> Reconnect. We do not do not see any issue like this.: https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1781795893249.png Is this issue occurring in a sub instance of Sierra Chart? If so, you need to do this in the sub instance: - Global Settings >> Symbol Settings >> Uncheck "Use Custom Symbol Setting Values" >> Update from server >> Apply/Ok. And then reconnect. Ok that fixed it. But when Reconnecting the platform froze so I did an End Task and it come up after restart with the Depth Combine Increment set to = 1 but data was now ok. Ultimately I want to use a larger tick size for GC given it's volatility. I have tried to set it via File >> Symbol >> Symbol Setting >> Tick Size = 0.5. When I do this the ladder and qty's look fine (since implementing your fix), BUT my "Recent bid/ask Volume" data disappears and remains blank even after new trades. I have Chart Settings >> Market Depth >> Apply Combine Increment in Ticks to Other Market Data Columns >> Yes Depth Combine Increment is still set to "1", it's just tick size I've changed to 0.5 per tick. FYI I'm on Version 2901 64-Bit, Revision 56402 Are you able to see proper data if you add recent bid/ask AND set a 0.5 tick size? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-06-18 16:55:36

Do not change your Tick Size. The Tick Size needs to be set to the default and you use the "Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks" to adjust the DOM columns. Refer to the following: Global Trade Settings Windows: Combining Price Levels for Market Data Columns in the Chart/Trade DOM Also, if you want to aggregate volume data (such as the Numbers Bars or Volume by Price studies) then change the "Volume at Price Multiplier" for those charts. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Volume at Price Multiplier for Historical/Intraday Chart (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Volume at Price menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1781881239776.png Ok. Setting tick size to default and changing only the "Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks" to 5 the ladder stays in the 1 tick market data increments and is not ideal. (See Left DOM Image) Changing the "Scale Increment" (Right DOM image) to 0.5 aka 5 ticks (and increasing fixed constant range to 30 from 6) does give me visually what I want, however it results in best bid/offer crossing most of the time. Is this the intended behavior? In my mind the logical behavior would be to remove the unused market data price levels (as changing the tick size achieves) instead of requiring a scale change and crossed bid/ask. I know I'm not aware of the other considerations if this is the intended behavior but, I wanted to ask. |

Changing the "Scale Increment" is the correct way to get the scale how you want. We are not certain what you mean by "it results in best bid/offer crossing most of the time". Please get us an image of what you are referring to. And let us know what columns you are referring to and what those columns are. I guess the best bid offer crossing is not important as it's only visual The images show that the best bid/offer are in the same row, I'm not saying they are the same price. But again, not a big deal if scale increment is the intended solution. Thanks, have a great weekend! |

You would have the same issue of the Best Bid/Offer being on the same row if you were changing the Tick Size or using the Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks. The point being that the rounding of the prices can be such that the Best Bid/Offer will be in the same price at some times. There is no workaround for this in the Market Depth data themselves. But, you can enable the "Chart >> Bid and Ask Lines" to get a visual of where the actual Best Bid/Ask are at. Refer to the following: Chart Menu: Show Bid and Ask Lines (Chart menu) Another option is to enable the graphics setting for "Chart DOM Best Bid/Ask Box Background". Refer to the following: Customizing Fonts, Colors, Line Styles, and Widths for Chart Trading, Chart DOM, and Trade DOM: Chart DOM Best Bid/Ask Box Background For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
