Secondary grid auto adjust

Hello... ...I like to have primary grid at 10pt increments on NQ and secondary grid at 100pt increments. I am able to do this by using values of 10 for primary grid and 5 for secondary grid in the scale settings. The problem I have is that when I adjust the scale range lower, the secondary grid will auto adjust to 50 pts to maintain balanced spacing Is there an option to turn off the adjustment?....I would like the secondary grid to maintain at 100pts to provide perspective of how the scale range has been altered
