Hi, Im using sierra chart sp12 and with EUREX AND CME level 2 data activated, AMP is my broker, my question are: I have 3 data feeds that I can choose: SC [DATA], GENERIC [DATA], and Teton CME Routing [Trading], all three seems to be working what are the differences? also choosing differenct data services it create different intraday data file but with the same size, which service data is the one i paid for? Finally which one do I need to connect once a month to maintain non-professional status? Thank you. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-04-02 14:40:28

"SC Data" means you are connected to the Sierra Chart servers for data, but not to any trading service. You would use this if, for some reason, you do not want to stay connected to your live trading account. "GENERIC" should never be used. "Teton CME Routing" is the service you would use to connect to your live trading account with AMP. In general, we recommend connecting to "Teton CME Routing" and keeping it set to that option. When you do not want to trade live, then enable "Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On" (so there is a checkmark next to this option). Or, if you are wanting to practice trading, then you could use the "Trading Evaluator" service. Every service has a different symbology. And we do store the data per symbol. So you will end up with multiple files if you are connecting to multiple services. For instance, the symbol "ESM26-CME" is from when you are connected to "SC Data", while the file "ESM26_FUT_CME" is from when you are connected to Teton Order Routing. Since you are setup with Teton Order Routing, you actually do not need to connect once a month to that account. The verification of that account is done "behind the scenes" in this case. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi, I’m not sure whether it’s a bug or if I may be missing the correct setting. On the Trading DOM, I can enable the Best Bid/Ask box (spread), and it displays correctly in the price column. However, on the Chart DOM, even with the Best Bid/Ask box enabled, it does not appear on the price scale. Could you please advise how to enable the Best Bid/Ask Box Background on the regular Chart DOM price scale? Thank you. |

You are doing it correctly. If you are having an issue with it not showing, then most likely you are not changing the setting in the correct location. Keep in mind there are Global graphics and Chart specific graphics. Which one is used is controlled by the setting for "Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings" on the chart specific Graphics Settings window (Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart). If that option is enabled, then you need to make the change to the graphics settings in the Global Graphics Settings (Global Settings >> Graphics Settings). Otherwise, you do it in the chart specific option (Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart). Refer to the following: Graphics Settings: Using Different Color and Graphics Settings for Specific Charts For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

You have to have the option for "Trade >> Trading Chart DOM On" in order for that item to show in the Chart DOM. That item is automatically enabled when you are using a Trade DOM, which is why you did not have to specifically set it. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
