"SC Data" means you are connected to the Sierra Chart servers for data, but not to any trading service. You would use this if, for some reason, you do not want to stay connected to your live trading account. "GENERIC" should never be used. "Teton CME Routing" is the service you would use to connect to your live trading account with AMP. In general, we recommend connecting to "Teton CME Routing" and keeping it set to that option. When you do not want to trade live, then enable "Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On" (so there is a checkmark next to this option). Or, if you are wanting to practice trading, then you could use the "Trading Evaluator" service. Every service has a different symbology. And we do store the data per symbol. So you will end up with multiple files if you are connecting to multiple services. For instance, the symbol "ESM26-CME" is from when you are connected to "SC Data", while the file "ESM26_FUT_CME" is from when you are connected to Teton Order Routing. Since you are setup with Teton Order Routing, you actually do not need to connect once a month to that account. The verification of that account is done "behind the scenes" in this case. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
