Question About Qualifying Accounts for CME Non-Professional Denali Data Authorization

Hi Sierra Chart Support, I am trying to get the Denali Exchange Data Feed working for CME data at non-professional rates (Package 12). My current setup is: - Sierra Chart Package 12 active - CME with Market Depth activated at $13.50/month - Connected via Rithmic Direct - DTC using an Apex Trader Funding evaluation account I understand that prop firm evaluation accounts do not qualify as live funded accounts for CME authorization. I have a few specific questions before spending more money: 1. Does a NinjaTrader Brokerage live account funded with $100 qualify as a live funded trading account to authorize CME non-professional Denali data fees? I want to confirm this before opening one. 2. Does a funded (not evaluation) prop firm account — for example a Tradeify funded account on Rithmic — qualify, or do ALL prop firm accounts regardless of funded status fail to meet CME's requirement? 3. Is there any other low-cost solution to authorize the non-professional CME Denali data rate for a trader who primarily uses prop firm accounts? I want to make sure I understand exactly what qualifies before taking any further action. Thank you for your help. |

1. A NinjaTrader account will NOT work, as part of the requirement is that you need to be able to connect your Sierra Chart software to your live account in order to verify your non-professional standing at least once a month. Sierra Chart can not connect to NinjaTrader. 2. All Prop Firms do not count towards the CME Group requirement. You need to be trading your own funds in your own private account. 3. Any live brokerage account to which Sierra Chart can connect will work. Sierra Chart has connectivity with Interactive Brokers, and brokers that support Rithmic, CQG, and Teton for their order routing. Although some CQG brokerages will not work, so you would have to check that with the individual broker.
